Thank you so much for a wonderful wedding. I received a letter from my Uncle today, a retired pastry cook and caterer, who really loved the venue and raved about the whole wedding. One of our photographer's loved the atmosphere saying it was not big and cold like many others but cozy and friendly like in his home country, Germany. The log fire and lounge area were a wonderful addition to the big family home atmosphere.
I will definitely recommend Oakville House to other Mothers of the Bride.

Sorry this has taken so long to get to you but things have been pretty hectic since the wedding. 

Bob & I just wanted to thank you both immensely and your fabulous staff - especially Paul the head waiter for the great job you did for our wedding. 

WE couldnt get over how well we were looked after and how everything was how we wanted it. The Food, Les, was superb - although I couldnt eat it all!! The decorations were perfect Jo, the atmosphere was awesome..we had an amazing day and so did all our guests and everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was and the service of all you guys.  

Although the day flew by and the nerves were there constantly it was the best day of our lives! So we just wanted to say a small thankyou for all you did to make our day as special as it was and we would reccommend you to anyone that is looking for a superb venue for their wedding! 

I hope its still keeping you busy and you still love what you do!

Hope you have recovered from your very busy long weekend of weddings. I wanted to say thankyou so much for making Amanda and Haydn's wedding day (Sunday 4th October 2009) so memorable.From the very first time we visited your beautiful property you made us feel so welcome. You have a way of making each bride and groom and their guests feel unique. After looking at quite a few reception venues we knew yours was the one we wanted to book. Sunday night proved we made the right choice. All the way through the planning nothing has been too much trouble and you have responded to any enquiry we had, promptly. So many of our guests commented on Sunday night about how professional but also friendly your staff were. Everything just seemed to happen flawlessly and on time.I have had guests ring and message me since saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
We were very grateful for the hospitality, detail to guests' food allergies and all round great fun that we had. The only regret was it went too fast! I'm telling anyone else I know with a wedding come up to book with you , so we can come back.
